                                                Notification of Change of Auditor

 

The Company announces that, following a competitive tender process overseen by the Audit Committee and in compliance with the Statutory Audit Services for Large Companies Market Investigation (Mandatory Use of Competitive Tender Processes and Audit Committee Responsibilities) Order 2014, the Board has approved the appointment of KPMG as its external auditor for the year ending 31 March 2022. This appointment remains subject to approval by shareholders at the Company's 2021 Annual General Meeting.  

The formal appointment will be for the reporting period commencing 1 April 2021. Deloitte (NI) Limited, the Company's current external auditor, will conclude the remainder of the audit for the year ending 31 March 2021, having been re-appointed at the 2020 Annual General Meeting.

Andy Malpass, Chair of the Audit Committee said: "We thank Deloitte for their excellent contribution as auditor for many years and we look forward to working with KPMG in the future".
