Share Plan Award
In accordance with the terms of his appointment the Company's new Chief Consumer Officer, Anindya Dasgupta, was granted, on 13 August 2021, awards (Awards) under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan (LTIP). The Awards have been granted over 119,526 shares.
86,300 shares were awarded in line with the Company's standard award timetable, by reference to the mid-market closing price of the Company's shares on 13 August 2021. In accordance with Anindya's terms of appointment, the performance criteria will be the same as those used for the Company's LTIPs granted in February 2021 to other participants and described in detail in the announcement dated 18 February 2021.
The remaining 33,226 shares were awarded as a Recruitment Award. They were granted in order to facilitate Anindya's recruitment, and to replace certain awards granted by his former employer which he forfeited on joining the Company.
The award was made by reference to the average mid-market closing price of the Company's shares for the three trading days up to and including 4 May 2021. This closing price was used in accordance with his contract of employment, however the Company was not able to grant the awards until his work permit was finalised.
