Issue of Equity
Following the announcement on 23rd August 2021, City of London Group announces an application has been made for the admission to trading of 5,152,794 new ordinary shares of £0.02 each ("Ordinary Shares") to be issued to the trustees of the Company's EBT to satisfy future share awards to COLG employees. The shares will be admitted to the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange, which will rank pari passu with the Company's existing Ordinary Shares, and admission to trading is expected to be effective by 8:00am on 6 September 2021 ("Admission").
Following Admission, the Company will have 85,879,913 Ordinary Shares in issue with each share carrying the right to one vote. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations to determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
