Non-Executive Board Appointment
LSL Property Services plc announces the appointment of James Mack to the Board of LSL as a Non Executive Director, with effect from 27th September 2021. James is also being appointed as Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee and he will also join the Nominations and Remuneration Committees.
James brings to LSL significant experience in audit, risk and financial services, particularly in the retail finance sector. This includes his current appointment as CFO and Executive Director at Barclays Bank UK plc. James was previously CFO and Executive Director at Aldermore plc and Aldermore Group plc. Prior to this James was acting CFO at the Co-operative Bank. James' previous experience also includes senior roles in finance and internal audit at Skipton Building Society. James qualified as an accountant with KPMG and holds a BA from the University of Nottingham.
In relation to James' appointments, the Board has determined that he is independent (according to the provisions of the UK Corporate Governance Code (2018 version)) and that he has the relevant financial experience to act as Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee
Following James' appointment to the Audit & Risk Committee, Bill Shannon, LSL's Non Executive Chair, will step down from his role as Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee.
