Starvest Plc ("Starvest" or the "Company")

Net Asset Value at 30 September 2021

Starvest Plc (LON:SVE), the London Stock Exchange AIM-listed specialist mining and resources investment business, announces a Net Asset Value ("NAV") update as at 30 September 2021.

Callum Baxter, Chairman and CEO, commented: "Although gold prices declined only slightly (<1%) during the last quarter, this small net change masked somewhat greater volatility during the quarter and prices that remain below the price of a year ago. The Company's portfolio value decreased approximately 10%, but we are pleased that the Company traded at a smaller discount to its NAV, as the Company's market capitalisation declined by only 2.3% over the past quarter. We believe the post-pandemic global economic recovery remains elusive in the near term and quantitative easing will remain the favoured tool of major economies over the coming months which provides a solid foundation for precious metals going forward. As part of routine operations, the board regularly reviews its portfolio positions and may make adjustments to its holdings to take advantage of what it believes to be temporary weakness in prices for precious metals. Alternatively, the board may consider strategic opportunities to better align the Company's stock price with what it regards as the intrinsic value of the Company's portfolio."
