Tate & Lyle PLC (the 'Company') was informed that 78,284 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company ('Shares') were exercised on 30 September 2021 by Laura Hagan, a Person Discharging Managerial Responsibilities, under the Tate & Lyle 2012 Performance Share Plan. 36,794 Shares were withheld to satisfy certain tax obligations arising on the release of the Shares. As a result, Ms Hagan acquired and retained a total of 41,490 Shares. For tax purposes, the market value of the Shares was 693.8 pence per Share. No consideration was paid for the acquisition of these Shares.
