DIRECTORATE CHANGE

BOARD SUCCESSION

Following the previous updates included in the Company's 2020 Annual Reports, the Board confirms the intention of the Chairman of the Board, Lord Howard Flight and The Honourable James Nelson, to retire from the Board, both having served in excess of nine years as Directors of the Company. It has been agreed that Lord Flight and James Nelson's retirements will take effect from the end of the Company's forthcoming Annual General Meeting in 2022. The Board is in the process of recruiting two additional independent non-executive directors to ensure there is a suitable succession plan in place and will make further announcements when it is in a position to confirm these additional appointments.

AURORA INVESTMENT TRUST PLC APPOINTS LUCY WALKER AS DEPUTY CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD AND CHAIRMAN DESIGNATE

In preparation for the retirement of the present Chairman, Lord Howard Flight, the Board is pleased to announce that, after due process, Ms Lucy Walker has been selected to succeed Lord Howard Flight as Chairman of the Board at the conclusion of Aurora's next Annual General Meeting in 2022.  During this interim period, Ms Walker will become Deputy Chairman of the Board and work closely with Lord Flight to enable an orderly transition.

Ms Walker was appointed to the Board on 2 December 2019 as an independent non-executive director and, during her time, has been a strong contributor to discussions which has earned her the respect of the Board, Fund Manager and key stakeholders alike.  Ms Walker currently serves as a non-executive director of Henderson International Income Trust, as well as an independent member of the audit & risk committee for SportsAid. In 2020 she founded AM Insights, striving to be the fastest, most intuitive and mobile-friendly fund research platform. Ms Walker started her career in the investment management industry at HSBC Global Asset Management, and later became fund manager and Head of Third Party Funds at Sarasin & Partners LLP. There she managed the team responsible for researching over £1.2 billion of assets under management, and managed a range of funds, as well as the model portfolio service. Ms Walker is a CFA charterholder.

Lord Flight, Chairman of the Company said:

"We are delighted that Lucy has agreed to act as the Company's Deputy Chairman and Chairman designate. We believe that her strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge and experience will serve the Company well in the years ahead."
