Board Changes

 

Grainger Trust, the affordable housing arm of Grainger plc, the UK's largest listed residential landlord, today announces changes to its Board of Directors. 

 

Deborah Shackleton, who has been Chair of Grainger Trust since its establishment in 2012, stepped down from the Board on 30 September 2021. During her tenure, Grainger Trust has grown significantly, now providing c.900 affordable homes.

 

Colin Sheriff has been appointed the new Chair of Grainger Trust. Colin is currently also Chair of Broadway Living, a Registered Provider of Social Housing. He has over 40 years' experience in the social housing sector.

 

Grainger Trust is today also commencing a search for a Board Director to fill the vacancy created by Colin's appointment to Chair.

 

Kurt Mueller will be joining the Grainger Trust Board as a Board Director. Kurt is the Director of Corporate Affairs at Grainger plc. He is a member of Grainger plc's Executive Committee, Management Committee and has been instrumental in developing Grainger's ESG strategy.

 

The Grainger Trust Board also comprises Sharon Pearce, Finance Director at Hyde Housing Association; Toby Austin, Director of Group Finance at Grainger plc; and Paul McGowan, Director of Land at Grainger plc.
