Share Buyback Update



With reference to the proposed share buyback announced on 9 May 2022, the Company announces that on 23 May 2022 it acquired 60,317 Ordinary Shares, representing approximately 0.02% of the Company's issued share capital, at an average price of 89.30p per Ordinary Share.


Following the above transaction, the Company's issued share capital is 286,155,657 Ordinary Shares, of which a total of 15,544,211 Ordinary Shares are held in Treasury, including 2,110,265 Ordinary Shares pending cancellation. Therefore, the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights in Sylvania is 270,611,446 Ordinary Shares.

The Sylvania Dump Operations (SDO) comprises six chrome beneficiation and PGM processing plants focusing on the retreatment of PGM-rich chrome tailings materials from mines in the Bushveld Igneous Complex.
