Appointment of Chair of Risk Committee of FBD Insurance Plc and update in Director Roles and Responsibilities in FBD Insurance plc
FBD Holdings plc ("FBD" or the "Group") is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Sylvia Cronin as Chair the Risk Committee of FBD Insurance plc with immediate effect. Ms Cronin has been a member of the Risk Committee since February 2020.
Ms Cronin joined the Board of FBD Holdings plc and the Board of FBD Insurance plc in November 2019. She has a strong background in financial services, spending most of her career working in the insurance industry. Prior to joining the Board, Ms Cronin was Director of Insurance Supervision in the Central Bank of Ireland and was a member of the European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority.
Group Chair, Mr. Liam Herlihy, said:

As an existing member of the Committee, Sylvia has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the risks facing FBD and is well placed to step into this role. I wish her well in her new position."
This announcement is made in accordance with Rule 6.1.64 of the Euronext Dublin Listing Rules. The Group confirms that there are no other matters requiring disclosure under Rule 6.1.66 of the Euronext Dublin Listing Rules.
