We've launched a dedicated section to IPO (initial public offering) news on our website, giving you a single source for all the latest news on new market entrants. We'll update the section every day, adding details of companies that have revealed plans to list either on the main market or Aim, as well as all the latest IPO rumours and round-up of recent flotations.
The link to the IPO section can be found on our home page, with the 'IPOs' tab located just under the thumbnail for the Shares magazine cover.
There's been a wealth of IPO announcements over the past few months and the pace continues to accelerate. Today we have news that life science group Horizon Discovery plans to join Aim. We also have the stockmarket debut for transport group DX (DX.:AIM) which sees its shares open 30% above the IPO placing price at 129.75p. Online retailer AO World (AO.) saw its stock jump 40% on its first day of dealings yesterday (26 Feb).
Our IPO guide will provide an overview of what each company does; their fund raising requirements and alert investors to an opportunity to participate in an IPO before the shares start trading – such as Pets at Home and Nation Media.
Last week's issue of Shares detailed what you should look for when researching IPOs and where to find the important information. You can read that article here.
