Dianomi PLC - London-based digital advertising platform - Reports revenue of £35.8 million for 2022, unchanged from 2021 and in line with company guidance issued in mid-December. Adjusted Ebitda halves to £1.5 million from £3.1 million. Cash as at December 31 grows 13% to £11.6 million from £10.3 million a year ago. Looking ahead, Dianomi says it has started 2023 strongly, noting that publishers are looking to extend or expand their presence on the company’s contextual platform.

‘A high publisher and advertiser retention rate has long been a key business strength, with publishers and advertisers choosing Dianomi’s platform for its ability to deliver attractive returns combined with high quality content from global business and lifestyle brands,’ Dianomi adds.

While a report from e-Marketer suggested that publishers’ advertising businesses are struggling at the start of 2023, Dianomi noted, the company says second-quarter budgets ‘are looking more positive’. It adds that market forecasts for overall digital ad spending have been reduced to modest levels due to the current macro-economic environment. Dianomi expects to release its 2022 results around mid-April.
