Coca-Cola European Partners to Present at Barclays Global Consumer Staples Conference; Affirms Full-Year 2016 EPS Guidance

Coca-Cola European Partners plc (CCEP) (ticker symbol: CCE) will present tomorrow, 8 September, at the Barclays Global Consumer Staples Conference in Boston. The presentation will begin at 2:45 p.m. BST, 3:45 p.m. CEST, and 9:45 a.m. EDT. Chief Executive Officer John F. In the presentation, CCEP will affirm its guidance for full-year 2016 diluted earnings per share growth in a mid-teen range, on a comparable and currency-neutral basis, while noting a modest softening in business trends. Based on recent rates, currency translation would negatively impact full-year 2016 diluted earnings per share by approximately €0.07. The company said it plans to provide a more detailed update on 22 September, when it will release first-half 2016 earnings results.

In addition, as previously disclosed, CCEP will provide an update on the impact of purchase price accounting adjustments to the pro forma 2015 financials. The comparable and currency-neutral diluted earnings per share growth outlook would be based on these adjusted numbers and as previously noted is benefitting from differences in interest and tax rates between comparable 2015 figures and the 2016 outlook.
