Change of beneficial owner of shareholder

Moscow, October 14, 2016 - Public Joint Stock Company "Inter RAO UES" ("Inter RAO", "Company", ticker on MOEX: IRAO), the largest diversified utilities holding in Russia, announces that on October 10, 2016 Ilya Viktorovich Sherbovich  has lost the right to dispose of 8,6828% (9,064,860,696 ordinary shares - indirect participation) shares of Inter RAO as the beneficial owner of an an independent private investment group UCP SEA RESOURSES LTD.

Inter RAO has been informed on this fact on October 12, 2016.

As it was announced before on October 10, 2016 an independent private investment group UCP SEA RESOURSES LTD has decreased its stake in the charter capital of Inter RAO from 8,6828% (9,064,860,696 ordinary shares - direct participation) to 0,0000 % (0 ordinary shares).

            The indicated above shares of Inter RAO were acquired by a number of financial investors with a long-term investment strategy, including large pension funds.

            The Company's  free-float is calculated as 28,9%.
