Verditek PLC - London-based company producing solar panels - Raises £1.5 million via a subscription of 101.3 million shares at 1.5 pence each. This is a 36% discount to Wednesday’s closing price of 2.34p.

Non-Executive Director Gavin Mayhew subscribes to 20 million shares at the issue price, worth £300,000.

Chief Executive Rob Richards comments: ‘Although raising cash via dilution is never an easy decision to take, I am delighted that over 80% of the raise has been achieved with long-term shareholders, including a director, who continue to believe in the future of the company.’

Current stock price: 1.79 pence, down 28% on Thursday
