Empire Metals Ltd - London-based minerals explorer and developer - Says an airborne gravity survey has been completed at its Pitfield project in Western Australia. Says gravity data will be used to identify potential drill targets. Adds a drill programme will be carried out to confirm the scale of the titanium-enriched mineral system.

Director Shaun Bunn says: ‘The main objective of the gravity survey is to map variations in the subsurface rock density at Pitfield across the 40 kilometres by 8 kilometres magnetics anomaly at a high resolution that will assist in drill target selection, with priority given to identifying and testing the thicker and higher-grade parts of this giant titanium-rich mineral system.’
