Bradda Head Lithium Ltd on Monday said ‘excellent results’ had been obtained from channel sampling at its San Domingo lithium project, reaffirming the company’s confidence in the value of the asset.

The North America-focused lithium developer reported ‘high-grade channel sampling’ at the project in central Arizona, where a total of 77 samples were collected for testing.

Highlights included ‘excellent results’ from the White Ridge location, which returned 5.0 metres at 2.3% lithium oxide mineralisation, and 4.1 metres at 2.8%.

Executive Chair Ian Stalker said: ‘We believe that these high-grade samples bode extremely well for the potential of the asset in its entirety, and reaffirms favourable results from both previous sampling undertaken by Bradda, as well as the historic sampling.

‘Looking forward, the success of this cost-effective and efficient technique is also a notable positive, particularly as we look to further our surface exploration in Q3 of this year. This demonstrates our innovative thinking in regard to how to best maximise our resources, and so far, we are having great success.’

Shares in Bradda Head were up 1.0% at 1.52 pence each in London on Monday morning.
