Vietnam Enterprise Investments Ltd - invests in listed equities in Vietnam - Net asset value per share on March 28, the last trading day of the first quarter, is $9.60, up 11% from the end of the fourth quarter of 2023, compared to a 12% rise for reference index, the Vietnam index. Total NAV is $1.9 billion. The share price rises just 5.3% over the first quarter, causing its discount to NAV to widen to 22% at the end of March from 18% at the end of December. VEIL’s largest portfolio holding is materials and natural resources group Hoa Phat. This is followed by three banks - Asia Commercial Bank, Vietnam Prosperity Bank and Vietcombank.
