British Smaller Cos VCT PLC and British Smaller Cos VCT2 PLC - venture capital trusts with diversified portfolio of UK businesses - Applications above £25 million have been received for new share offers for the 2025/26 tax year. ‘Applicants subscribing for the first £25 million of application amounts under the offers will receive additional new shares equivalent to 0.125% of the amount they subscribe,’ the VCTs say. The offers are looking to raise £60 million, with an over allotment facility worth up to £25 million.
