("Sanderson Design Group", the "Company" or the "Group")
Change of Auditor
Sanderson Design Group PLC (AIM: SDG), the luxury interior design and furnishings group, announces the appointment of BDO LLP ("BDO") as the Company's external auditor with effect from 26 October 2021. This appointment follows a competitive tender process detailed in the Company's Annual Report & Accounts 2021 and led by the Company's Audit Committee.
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP ("PwC"), which did not participate in the tender process owing to their length of tenure as the Group's auditor, has formally resigned and provided a statement confirming that there are no matters that need to be brought to the attention of the Company's shareholders or creditors.
BDO will audit the Company's financial statements for the year ending 31 January 2022. The re-appointment of BDO as auditor for the following financial year will be subject to shareholder approval at the Annual General Meeting of the Company to be held in 2022.
The Board wishes to express its thanks to PwC for their service and support over the period of their tenure.
