Arc Minerals Ltd - base metals exploration company focused in Africa - Starts maiden exploration programme for its Virgo project in Botswana, starting with a soil geochemistry survey underway to be followed by an exploratory drill programme.

The re-interpretation of geology in licence PL 135/2017 suggests the existence of a fold crest giving an opportunity to extend the previous soil sampling grid along the fold limb to this crest.

Two licence areas host the contact between the Ngwako Pan and D’Kar formations which are favourable for hosting copper-gold mineralisation.

Exploration drilling is to follow and test the contact zone areas and interpreted fold crest to target both known and new anomalies.

‘Following the acquisition of Alvis-Crest Pty Ltd late last year the team has reviewed the previous work carried out in the respective license areas and put forward our maiden exploration programme to further refine our geological understanding before commencing with an exploratory drill programme,’ said Executive Chair Nick von Schirnding.
