Chapel Down Group PLC - Kent, England-based wine maker - Delivers a first half performance in line with management expectations. Notes strong growth momentum in the sale of its Chapel Down sparkling wines, with increased off and on trade distribution. Revenue for the half is in line with 2021, it adds. Outlook for 2022 as a whole remains positive, with forecast revenue growth due to increasing demand for English sparkling wines. Company says it is well-positioned to deliver on its ambition to double the size of its business over the next five years.
