Ondo InsurTech PLC on Tuesday said it has agreed to partner with PURE Insurance on the distribution of its LeakBot system.

The London-based claims prevention technology firm for home insurers said PURE will pilot a programme distributing Ondo’s LeakBot system to some of its members in selected US states.

LeakBot is a self-install claims prevention technology which connects to the wireless network of a home, alerting customers if it detects a leak.

PURE Insurance is a US-based insurer focused on ‘high net worth families’, offering customisable coverage for high-valuables, such as homes, automobiles, jewellery and art.

PURE Head of Risk Management Jason Metzgler said: ‘Technologies like LeakBot allow our members to play an even greater role in loss prevention by identifying small leaks before they turn into large claims.’

Ondo shares rose 4.0% to 37.45 pence each on Tuesday morning in London.
