Springfield Properties PLC - Scotland-focused builder of private and affordable housing - Inks new affordable housing contract worth £6.1 million with The Highland Council. Says that the design and build phase will start ‘in the coming weeks’, to be delivered over an 18-month period. Springfield will receive payments on a monthly basis.

Chief Executive Officer Innes Smith says: ‘We are pleased to have been awarded this affordable housing contract by The Highland Council, a long-standing partner of the group. We continue to be encouraged by the interest we are receiving from local housing authorities and other affordable housing providers as they seek to meet the Scottish Government’s targets and help meet recognised housing needs across the country.’
