The evening event provides an opportunity for board directors from UK listed companies to make a presentation about their company and update existing & potential investors on their business plans. 

 

 

During the event and afterwards over drinks, investors will have the chance to discover new investment opportunities and get to know the companies better by talking one on one with the company directors.

Caledonia Mining Corporation (CMCL), although Scottish by name, is actually an exploration, development and mining company focused on Southern Africa. Maurice Mason, VP will provide an update on the Blanket Mine project in Zimbabwe, Caledonia's primary asset, which produced over 50,000 ounces of gold in 2016.

 

 

Healthperm (HPR) Healthperm was founded with the objective of addressing the acknowledged shortage of permanent nurses in the healthcare systems in the UK and the UAE, through the recruitment of experienced professionals from the Philippines. David Sumner, CEO, will provide an update on how Healthperm believes it has the potential to provide both capital growth and income through dividends for shareholders.

 

 

Saffron Energy (SRON) The Group’s corporate strategy is to grow the production of gas and operations at its 3 core gas fields: Sillaro, Bezzecca and Sant’Alberto at a low-cost relative to other oil and gas companies, providing the basis for future shareholder value creation. With Bezzecca joining Sillaro in production in early 2017 (expected March 2017) and Sant’Alberto following later in the year (Q4 2017), this package of gas production assets will generate strong returns and cash-flows. The Group expects to achieve a combined production from the three fields of 4,000 mcfpd by 2019, equivalent to almost 700 boepd.

 

 

The Merchants Trust was established in 1889, it aims to provide its shareholders with an above-average level of income which increases over time. The trust is managed by Simon Gergel, Chief Investment Officer, UK Equities at Allianz Global Investors who will be presenting at the event
