WPP PLC said on Friday that it has discontinued its operations in Russia.

The London-based communications and advertising company said it ‘stands with Ukraine’ and condemned the Russian invasion.

Russia represented 0.6% of WPP’s revenue less pass-through costs in 2021. WPP adds it has nearly 1,400 people in Russia and said it will provide support to them and work closely with its clients and partners as it discontinues its activities in the country.

Shares in WPP were down 1.6% at 947.60 pence on Friday in London.
