Semiconductor designer and supplier EnSilica PLC on Thursday said it will float on London’s junior AIM Market on Tuesday.
The Oxfordshire-based firm will raise £6 million at 50 pence each. It will have a market capitalisation of £37.6 million on admission.
Since 2001, it has been a supplier and designer of mixed-signal application specific integrated circuits, a type of integrated circuit or semiconductor chip developed for specific purposes, rather than for general use.
Its customer base consists of global corporations, original equipment manufacturers and technology start-ups.
Vela Technologies PLC, which in January invested £750,000 in EnSilica through convertible loan notes, noted the announcement. The investment came as part of a pre-initial public offering funding round.
