Go-Ahead Group PLC, up 14% at 1,551.70 pence, 12-month range 450.60p-1,558.00p. Kelsian Group Ltd urgres Go-Ahead shareholders to take no action on a rival takeover offer, saying it is in talks with Go-Ahead for a cash bid of its own. Newcastle, England-based Go-Ahead on Monday said it has agreed to a takeover offer from Gerrard Investment Bidco Ltd, a subsidiary of a consortium consisting of Kinetic Holding Co Pty Ltd and Globalvia Inversiones SAU. Under the terms of the deal, the consortium will acquire Go-Ahead for 1,500 pence per share, comprising 1,450p in cash, and a special dividend of 50 pence, in lieu of a final dividend for the financial year ending July 2. The offer values Go-Ahead at £647.7 million.

ProCook Group PLC, up 5.3% at 40.00p, 12-month range 36.20p-166.00p. Stock stages rebound after brutal few sessions. Stock ended down 40% on Friday and fell a further 18% on Monday after saying trading had been hurt by increasingly challenging market conditions, with customers affected by ‘exceptional pressures’ on discretionary spending.
