Central Asia Metals PLC - copper, zinc and lead explorer operating in Kazakhstan and North Macedonia - In the six months ended June 30, revenue rises to $113.8 million from $100.8 million year-on-year. Pretax profit jumps 60% to $66.9 million from $41.8 million.

Kounrad copper production is 6,617 tonnes, up from 6,214 tonnes a year prior, with sales rising to 6,406 tonnes from 6,241 tonnes. Full year copper production guidance rises to 13,500-14,000 tonnes from a range of 12,500 to 13,500.

Sasa zinc in concentrate production drops to 10,465 tonnes from 11,292 tonnes, with sales falling to 8,761 tonnes from 9,419 tonnes. Sasa lead in concentrate production rises to 13,827 tonnes from 13,807 tonnes, with sales rising to 13,608 tonnes from 13,160 tonnes. Sasa is on track to meet production guidance in 2022, it notes.

Declares interim dividend of 10 pence per share. Notes it is ‘not immune’ to inflationary pressures, specifically energy.
