RBG Holdings PLC on Tuesday said it promoted its group finance director and company secretary to the board as an executive director with immediate effect.

The London-based professional services firm said it promoted Suzanne Drakeford-Lewis to the position. She replaces Robert Parker, who resigned from the board effective from Saturday.

It said Parker is leaving the group to pursue other interests, but will remain in an advisory capacity for a short period as the company looks to refocus and build on its professional services businesses.

‘Suzanne has been hugely impressive since joining the team three years ago. I am delighted she has agreed to join the board having been the group’s finance director for the past year. She will support me as we concentrate the group on our professional services business and create value for shareholders,’ said Chief Executive Officer Nicola Foulston.

Drakeford-Lewis joined RBG in 2019 and has worked in both finance and business support roles in a variety of industries. This includes working for multinational corporations in the fast-moving consumer goods and technology sectors, before spending the last 15 years in the legal services sector.

Shares in RBG were down 3.0% to 63.10 pence each in London on Tuesday afternoon.
