Artemis Resources Ltd - Perth-based based mining company, with gold, copper and cobalt projects in Australia - Provides Greater Carlow exploration update. Says rapid assessment programme to be undertaken to define new mineralisation around the 704,000 ounces of gold equivalent Carlow Castle mineral resource. Notes priority areas include Europa gravity anomaly, Titan target and Carlow Castle extensions. Provides exploration target for the Carlow Castle deposit as 2.5 Mt to 5.0 megatonnes at 2.5 grammes per tonne of gold equivalent to 3.1 grammes per tonne for 200,000 ounces of gold quivalent to 500,000 ounces of gold equivalent. Further, updates on company strategy. Reaffirms its commitment to be a Pilbara focussed gold and copper explorer. Intends pursuing a rapid assessment exploration program to define new mineralisation within a 25 km radius of the Carlow Castle deposit. Also, evaluates inbound third-party interest to fund the next stage of Paterson Central exploration including potential financing and joint venture opportunities. Implements cost reduction exercise which has saved more than A$1.7 million, or $1.2 million, per annum.
