Worldwide Healthcare Trust PLC - London-based investor in the global healthcare sector - Net asset value per share is 3,434.5 pence as of March 31, down 0.9% from 3,465.2p a year earlier. Total NAV return for the financial year that ended on March 31 is negative 0.1%, underperforming its benchmark, the MSCI World Health Care index, which returns positive 2.5%. Declares final dividend of 24.0p per share, up 23% from 19.5p a year before, lifting the total annual payout by 17% to 31.0p from 26.5p.

Looking ahead, says global stock markets experience high uncertainty, so investors remain relatively risk-averse for the moment, ‘favouring more predictable businesses over the faster growing companies that make up much of our portfolio and sector’. But says the outlook is positive both for the healthcare sector and for the company.

Current stock price: 3,275.60 pence, down 0.4% on Wednesday morning in London
