Aeorema Communications PLC on Tuesday was positive looking ahead, after saying it expects higher annual revenue and profit.

Shares in the London-based live events agency were up 6.0% to 81.64 pence each in London on Tuesday around midday.

Aeorema said that revenue in the year ended June 30 is expected to be at least £19.8 million, up from £12.2 million a year earlier.

Pretax profit is expected to be at least £950,000, up from £844,000.

Aeorema said it expects to increase its dividend payment, subject to audited results. At the end of financial 2022, the company reinstated its dividend, with a 2p per share payout.

Looking ahead, the company said it is confident that the financial 2024 will be ‘another successful year.’

It added that prior to the year-end, Aeorema said had its ‘biggest presence to date’ at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2023.

Chief Executive Officer Steve Quah commented: ‘I am thrilled to announce that, for the second consecutive year, we expect to achieve record revenue and profit for our financial year ended June 30, 2023. The material increase in group revenue has been achieved by securing contracts from both new and existing clients.’
