The Producer Price Index was unchanged in May, seasonally adjusted, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics confirmed today.

Final demand prices rose 0.5% in April and edged down 0.1% in March.

On an unadjusted basis, the final demand index increased 2.4% for the 12 months ended in May.

Within final demand in May, a 0.3% increase in the index for final demand services offset a 0.5% decline in prices for final demand goods.
