Asiamet Resources said drilling at its Beruang Kanan Main copper deposit in Indonesia had continued to intersect broad intervals of mineralisation with discrete high grades.

The work was being conducted as part of the bankable feasibility study for the project in Central Kalimantan.

Highlights included intersecting 34.75 metres at 0.94% copper from 1.25m depth.

'With a great deal of the drilling programme now complete, we expect to be reporting further results as they are received and ultimately feeding into the bankable feasibility study for its completion,' chief executive Peter Bird said.

'In addition to the ongoing technical programme, other environmental and corporate work streams are also being advanced at pace and we look forward to providing further updates as they become available.'
