Just Group plc ("Just", the "Group"), the specialist UK financial services group focusing on attractive segments of the UK retirement income market, is pleased to announce that John Perks has been appointed to the role of Non-Executive Director of the Group's subsidiary Life Companies, Just Retirement Limited, and Partnership Life Assurance Company Limited. John's appointment is effective from 1 April 2021.
John brings over 25 years of business experience in the insurance, life and pensions industry and has been a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries since 1998. Most recently John was CEO of Police Mutual.

John was previously CEO of Police Mutual, stepping away six months after its successful transfer to Royal London on 1 October 2020.
John started his career at Swiss Life, working in a number of roles within the Group, Individual and Corporate Partnerships businesses. He then gained further life insurance experience working at AXA Sun Life and Prudential. From 2007 to 2019, John was at LV=, becoming part of the Group Executive in his role as Managing Director, Life & Pensions, gaining significant knowledge of the Retirement market. From 2019 to 2021 John was CEO of Police Mutual, overseeing the successful transfer of businesses to Royal London Group.
