Exercise of share options / Transfer of treasury shares
Headlam Group plc (LSE: HEAD) announces that, on 16 December 2022, share options granted under the 2020 grant of the Headlam Group Sharesave Scheme ('SAYE') were exercised at the option price of £2.27 per share.
A total of 6,585 ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purpose of satisfying the exercise of the share options.
Following the above transfer of treasury stock, the Company holds 2,917,803 ordinary shares as treasury shares.
The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) is 82,721,406 with one voting right per share. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company is 82,721,406.
The above figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
