Further to the announcement by Schroder Oriental Income Fund Limited (the "Company") on 3 August 2023 that Kate Cornish-Bowden had advised the Board that she will resign as a Director of the Company prior to the appointment of Schroder Unit Trusts Limited as the AIFM of International Biotechnology Trust plc, the Company confirms that Ms Cornish-Bowden resigned as a Director of the Company with effect from 17 November 2023.
The Board has commenced the process of appointing a successor.
Paul Meader, Chairman of the Company, said:
"On behalf of my fellow Directors, I would like to thank Kate for her significant contribution as a non-executive director over the past five years. We are really sorry to lose her expertise, wisdom and good humour earlier than planned. We wish her well."
