SMALL-CAP - WINNERS

Zotefoams PLC, up 5.4% at 294 pence, 12-month range 271.55p-415p. The cellular material technology producer signs a deal with sportswear brand Nike Inc. Zotefoams will supply high-performance foams for the recently launched Nike Ultrafly, which is described as Nike’s ‘pinnacle trail racing shoe’. It operates under an exclusive supply agreement with the US firm for footwear product cushioning. ‘We are delighted by this expanded partnership with Nike, which demonstrates the confidence the company has in the performance benefits of our materials in other footwear applications,’ says CEO David Stirling.

Capital PLC, up 2.6% at 77.98p, 12-month range 74p-118p. The London-based mining services company’s assay services subsidiary MSALABS Ltd signs partnership with Australia’s Barrick Gold Corp and Chrysos Corp for delivery of PhotonAssay technology to Barrick mine sites in four continents. It will begin will three PhotonAssay units at the Nevada gold mines complex, before potentially expanding to up to 10 more units by the end of 2025.

Oryx International Growth Fund Ltd, down 4.0% at 1,022p, 12-month range 900p-1,300p. The Guernsey-based investment fund’s shares retreat, and are down 12% over the past six months. It invests in medium and small sized quoted and unquoted companies in the UK and the US.
