Haleon PLC on Tuesday said it will add Pfizer Inc Chief Financial Officer David Denton to its board of directors from March 1.

Haleon is a Weybridge, Surrey-based consumer healthcare products company that spun off from pharmaceutical company GSK PLC in July 2022. It is 32% owned by New York-listed Pfizer and 13.5% owned by GSK.

Pfizer CFO Denton replaces John Young as non-executive director and as Pfizer representative of Haleon. John Young was Pfizer’s chief business officer until early 2022.

Haleon shares fell 1.3% to 316.70 pence each on Tuesday afternoon in London, while Pfizer shares traded 2.5% lower at $42.45 each in pre-market trading in New York.
