Sabre Insurance Group PLC, up 2.3% at 154.69 pence, 12-month range 80.77p-154.69p. The motor insurance underwriter rises amid positive earnings from bluechip insurers Admiral Group PLC and Aviva PLC. The former reports double-digit interim revenue growth, as profit also rose by 4.1%. The latter swings to an interim post-tax profit of £377 million from a loss of £198 million, as general insurance gross written premiums rise 12% to £5.27 billion from £4.69 billion. Admiral rises 5.2%, with Aviva adding 2.7%.

Capital Ltd, down 3.3% at 82.60p, 12-month range 79p-118p. The mining services firm says first-half revenue is up 12% year-on-year to $154.3 million from $138.1 million, driving pretax profit up 55% to $23.4 million from $15.1 million. The firm expects full-year revenue to rise to between $320 million and $340 million, from $290.3 million in 2022. Despite the higher profit, it leaves its interim payout unchanged at 1.3 cents per share.
