International Personal Finance chief financial officer Adrian Gardner has resigned to pursue an alternative business opportunity.
He has today stepped down from the board and will leave the business in due course once an orderly handover to Justin Lockwood, the company's head of finance, who will become interim CFO, has been completed.
Lockwood will join the company's executive committee and will attend board meetings, but will not be appointed as an executive director of the board. A recruitment process has commenced to appoint a new CFO. The board thanked Gardner for his contribution to the progress made by the company in recent years and wished him well in his new role. The board also confirmed that 2016 trading continues to be in line with its expectations, including Mexico which is showing encouraging signs of progress and performing as guided at the time of our Interim results.
A full Q3 trading update is due to be released on 20 October.
