FireAngel Safety Technology Group PLC - Coventry-based maker of home safety products such as smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors - Says 2022 saw strongest revenue performance since 2017. Sales grow 32% to £57.5 million in 2022 from £43.5 million in 2021. Expects to report that adjusted pretax loss narrows to £2.1 million from £3.0 million. ‘The board remains confident of the outlook for 2023 with significantly increased revenue and enhanced gross margin expected, FireAngel Safety adds.

Staffline Group PLC - Nottingham, England-based recruitment and training - Says revenue in 2022 rises 0.4% to £946.8 million from £942.7 million. Also expects to report 0.5% gross profit growth to £83.2 million from £82.8 million. Underlying operating profit to rise 13% to £11.6 million from £10.3 million. Revenue climb boosted by new contract wins, including with carmaker BMW AG. ’This positive performance has been supported by further operational progress across the Group, as highlighted by two significant recruitment customer wins, the first profit recognised from the Restart contract, and robust trading during the peak pre-Christmas period boosted by the FIFA World Cup,‘ Staffline says. Company takes ’cautious‘ approach to 2023, however, amid tough market conditions.

Gaming Realms PLC - London-based developer and licensor of mobile-focused gaming content - Signs brand licensing deal with Tetris Co Inc, the exclusive licensee of the eponymous falling blocks game. Deal creates Tetris Slingo mobile game, expected to launch worldwide in fourth quarter on both social and real-money platforms. ’The core Slingo game mechanic lends itself perfectly to new innovations and themes, blending this with the iconic Tetris game mechanic will present one of the most exciting game collaborations to date,‘ Gaming Realms explains.

Horizonte Minerals PLC - nickel company focused on Brazil - Advances permitting process at Vermelho nickel-cobalt project in Brazil. Submits environmental and social impact assessment with Para State Secretariat for Environment & Sustainability. Targets granting of a preliminary licence in mid-2024.

Artisanal Spirits Co PLC - Edinburgh, Scotland-based distiller of single-cask and limited-edition whiskies - Says revenue for 2022 to grow 20%, coming in ’slightly ahead‘ of consensus of £21.6 million. Revenue in 2021 amounted to £18.2 million. Says global membership grows 12% to around 37,000 at year-end, from 33,000 in 2021. ’Retention remained broadly consistent with the prior year level of 77%, demonstrating the loyal nature of the membership base,‘ company adds. Artisanal says David Ridley steps down as managing director after six years in role. Will remain with company to assist with transition. Finance Director Andrew Dane named chief executive with immediate effect. Billy McCarter, formerly financial controller, becomes interim finance director. Company has begun search for ’long-term [chief financial officer].
