Robert Walters PLC, up 8.7% at 737.00 pence, 12-month range 499.00p-892.00p. The recruiter says first quarter ended strongly with a record March performance. Company reports net fee income of £98.4 million for the first quarter ended March 31, up 27% on £77.3 million a year before. The Asia Pacific, Europe and Other International regions all saw yearly growth in excess of 30%, while the UK saw just a 4% increase. ‘Activity levels across Resource Solutions clients in the UK were strong but the time taken to onboard new staff has lengthened,’ the firm notes.

De La Rue PLC, up 3.5% at 108.00p, 12-month range 98.27p-210.15p. The banknote printer says it expects full-year adjusted operating profit to be in line with market expectations with net debt ‘slightly better’ than forecasts of £75 million.
