"Alongside the start up of the mine we have continued to advance the Power Project.
"The formal request at the end of May 2017 from the Ministry of Energy and Minerals of Tanzania for the Company to proceed with the development of its Rukwa Coal to Power Project was a significant step forward and demonstrated the Tanzanian Government's wish to develop power in the region.
"Working alongside Sinohydro Corporation of China we continue in detailed discussions with The Tanzanian Electric Supply Company to further define the size and structure of the project and any associated transmission infrastructure that will be needed to take the electricity.
"With the mine and wash plant commissioning imminent and significant progress being made towards defining the Power Project parameters we expect the coming months and years to be transformational for the company."
