The clothing retailer posts pretax profit of £17.9 million, swinging from £36.7 million loss the year before. However, expects its adjusted profit to be lower in current financial year due to ‘challenging macroeconomic environment’.

Motorpoint Group PLC, up 3.0% at 152.46 pence, 12-month range 145.00p-382.90p. Shares recover slightly after fall of about 16% following publication of trading update on Thursday. The omnichannel vehicle retailer expects full profit for first half to be £3 million compared to £13.5 million last year. Recovery on Friday unable to close gap from Thursday’s losses.

Oxford BioMedica, up 3.5% at 354.50 pence, 12-month range 325.60p-1,608.00p. The gene and cell therapy group completes partial repayment and amendment of loan facility with Oaktree Capital Management. Under the new terms, company amended the facility into a new senior secured four-year term loan facility with a principal amount of $50.0 million.
