The clothing retailer posts pretax profit of £17.9 million, swinging from £36.7 million loss the year before. However, expects its adjusted profit to be lower in current financial year due to ‘challenging macroeconomic environment’.

Motorpoint Group PLC, up 3.0% at 152.46 pence, 12-month range 145.00p-382.90p. Shares recover slightly after fall of about 16% following publication of trading update on Thursday. The omnichannel vehicle retailer expects full profit for first half to be £3 million compared to £13.5 million last year. Recovery on Friday unable to close gap from Thursday’s losses.

The gene and cell therapy group completes partial repayment and amendment of loan facility with Oaktree Capital Management. Under the new terms, company amended the facility into a new senior secured four-year term loan facility with a principal amount of $50.0 million.
