Shell PLC - London-based oil major - Wael Sawan, director of Integrated Gas, Renewables & Energy Solutions, sells 19,384 shares at €26.61, worth €515,711, in Amsterdam and 4,750 American depositary shares, each representing two ordinary shares, at $53.08, worth $252,130, in New York. Both sales are on Thursday. Shell last week said Sawan will replace Ben van Beurden as Shell chief executive officer at the start of next year.

John Wood Group PLC - Aberdeen-based energy-sector focused engineering and consulting - Chief Executive Kenneth Gilmartin buys 170,000 shares at $1.57, worth $266,900, on Thursday.

Future PLC - Bath-based digital media firm and magazine publisher - Chief Executive Zillah Byng-Thorne and associate Max Thorne buy 3,376 shares at £13.83 and £14.35, worth £47,351, on Thursday. Future on Tuesday confirmed that Byng-Thorne will step down as CEO by the end of 2023. Chief Financial Officer Penny Ladkin-Brand buys 7,138 shares at £13.87, worth £99,004, on Thursday as well.

S4 Capital PLC - London-based advertising agency - Non-Executive Director Rupert Faure Walker buys 96,949 shares at £1.58, worth £153,557, on Thursday. Now has 910,042 shares, a 0.2% stake. S4 Capital on Wednesday posted a widened interim loss but a 60% jump in revenue.

Big Yellow Group PLC - Surrey-based self-storage facilities operator - Executive Chair Nicholas Vetch buys 22,000 shares at 1,134.00 pence, worth £249,480, on Thursday. Vetch and his family now have 6.3 million shares, a 3.4% stake. Big Yellow says the purchase is by an entity in which Vetch is interested but over which he has no discretion.

CLS Holdings PLC - London-based commercial property investor - Non-Executive Director Bengt Mortstedt sells 762,410 shares, worth £1.9 million, on September 16, as part of the company’s tender offer. Earlier, CLS had said investment vehicles for the Sten and Karin Mortstedt Family & Charity Trust, which is closely associated with CLS Deputy Chair Anna Seeley, sold 5.2 million shares, worth £13.1 million, in the tender. In total, CLS repurchased 10.2 million shares at 250p for a total value of £25.5 million.
